Where can I turn for Peace?

One of my favorite hymns is called "Where Can I Turn for Peace?" The words go like this:
"Where can I turn for peace? Where is my solace when other sources cease to make me whole? When with a wounded heart, anger, or malice, I draw myself apart, searching my soul?
Where, when my aching grows, where, when I languish, where, in my need to know, where can I run? Where is the quiet hand to calm my anguish? Who, who can understand? He, only one.
He answers privately, reaches my reaching, in my Gethsemane, Savior and Friend. Gentle the peace he finds for my beseeching. Constant he is and kind, love without end" (Hymns # 129)
In the troubling times that we live in, it's hard to find peace. It's hard to find comfort when terror and chaos are all around. Our Savior Jesus Christ offers us lasting peace. In talking to his disciples, he said "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27) I know the Savior loves us and wants us to be happy. If we have faith and come to him, we will have peace.
